Signal Skin is a live audiovisual performance by Calgon x João Parente. Calgon manipulates João Parente's digital visuals in real-time, weaving in live CCTV footage captured on-site at the festival. Through analog mixing, they create a glitchy, textured collage—a reflection of the event's fleeting moments and the unique visual language of tattoo culture, exploring themes of observation and digital transience.

What started as a curiosity for utilizing video as the main source of artistry in a clubbing setting quickly became a deep rabbit hole of AV world, influenced by 90s rave culture.
